Armaglass Intotech 225
A reinforcement mesh in alkali-resistant fibreglass weighing 225 g/m2, with a 25 x 25 mm square mesh and thermosetting primer equal to about 10% of total weight. Easy and quick to apply, to handle and to cut. It combines lightness and thinness with excellent mechanical characteristics in the warp and weft. Resistant to atmospheric agents and aggressive environments. Suitable for any substrate and perfectly compatible with both cement- and lime-based mortars.
Armaglass Intotech 225 is a mesh used for the reinforcement of high thickness plasters and screeds, with a uniform absorption and redistribution function of mechanical stresses and shrinkage stresses. The mesh therefore performs an important anti-cracking function on plasters and screeds. It is the ideal plaster base for our products based on natural hydraulic lime: Sanatigh, Sanawarme, Caleosana, Sanascreed and for osmotic thickening waterproofing products Osmocem MR and Osmocem RD.
To prepare the substrate, carefully follow what is indicated in the technical data sheets of the product with which the Armaglass Intotech 225 mesh is combined. To facilitate collaboration with the support, Armaglass Intotech 225 can be coupled and is perfectly compatible with any type of connector (in fiberglass, resin or metal).
Application on masonry:
If the use of connectors is envisaged, proceed with the creation of holes of suitable diameter, depending on the selected connection system, arranged according to the design indications. Fix the connectors with anchoring resin (Syntech Profix or alternatively SYNTECH EPOXY 21) or grout based on hydraulic binders (Grout Cable or alternatively Sanafluens). Apply a first layer of mortar (see technical data sheet of the chosen product), lay the Armaglass Intotech 225 mesh on the still fresh mortar, taking care to guarantee at least 10 cm on the overlaps, lay the second layer of mortar.
Application on screeds:
Apply a first layer of screed (see technical data sheet of the chosen product), lay the Armaglass Intotech 225 mesh partially drowning it on the first layer of still fresh screed, taking care to guarantee at least 10 cm on the overlaps, laying the second layer of screed.
